Watch Matt & Steve from Garage X battle and defeat rust, corrosion and time! Why? To lower the Garage X shop truck, A 1997 Ford F150 with a DJM3097-4/6 kit.
In this episode the guy’s remove the factory front suspension and replace with DJM Calmax control arms!
Zach, We did it. Episode 4 is complete, and so is the DJM install in our truck. It looks and rides great. The DJM kit it top-shelf craftsmanship, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to lower their ride. t have gotten stopped by many people asking me how I lowered my truck, and I get a lot of good feed back while I’m waiting at traffic lights. We’ve got a ton more planned for this truck, including a 460 big block. You can check out rear install here:

Thanks for watching!

Saw this vid a while back. I have a black longbed like this but slightly lowered. Planning on getting the control arms and flip kit soon. I am curious to know why Garage X have not posted any new vids on Youtube and the progress on the truck. I would like to see the end results but I guess I will be the first one to own a much lowered 97-03 longbed F150. I keep telling everyone that longbeds can look cool once it is lowered enough. Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
