Sometimes a one inch difference between front and rear doesn’t provide that “level” look your trying to get. A 2″ differential gets you closer and sometimes that doesn’t get it! Having said that it is important to know that lowering trucks and cars is not an exact science, you often have to experiment to get exactly what you want. Now if you want to go 6″ on your rear with a flip kit you would need to put your factory shackles and hangers back on, and it would require a “c-notch”. If you did that and you find you have gone too far in the rear you can run a “shorty” shackle which will give you a 1″ lift and net you out a 5″ rear drop to go along with your 3″ front drop. That lifting shackle part number is SH1000 and is available at The DJM Factory Store!
