I have a 2007 2WD silverado 3500HD crew cab LTZ duramax with alison box
i want to lower the front 4 inches and the back 3 inches. The reason is i tow a 40 foot gooseneck trailer and the back drops a few inches when i hook up
Is there a kit that can do this
thanks Bill Gable

We don’t have a “kit” for a 4/3 drop but you can do it!! The front is dropped by simply replacing the factory lower control arm with our 3″ Calmax lower control arm. But you wanted 4″ and the arm only gives you 3″, true enough, you can get your 4th inch by very modestly adjusting the load on your torsion bar. In fact you can adjust up or down from the 3″ drop value and keep alignment if you are very conservative when adjusting the torsion bars. At some point (either up or down) you will not be able to adjust the camber enough to achieve a proper alignment. For the rear we offer a 5″ kit that consists of a pair of leaf spring hangers (3″ front leaf spring bracket) and a pair of longer than factory leaf spring shackles (2″ rear leaf spring mount that pivots). You can use just the front leaf spring eye hangers to get your 3″ drop but I would recommend having the rear leaf spring shackles handy if you feel the truck doesn’t look right with only the 3″ drop. Now to make things unnecessarily complicated GM built all of the 2001-2010 HD’s using 3 different rear leaf spring hangers! In order to make sure you get the right ones you can visually ID the correct bracket. I will give you a couple of links here to help you pick the right part and a link to our factory store to see pictures and be able to order the parts!
Link for the hanger ID be sure to scroll down to the heavy duty hangers!
Let us know if we can help you with any more info!
